Checking in from the Heartland

Hello all.

I am a new gun owner, though have been around weapons since I was a kid and for 20 years in the Air Force. I recently applied for my Concealed Handgun Permit in Nebraska and am awaiting it's arrival in the mail. I've spent a lot of time in recent months learning some of the do's and don'ts of CCW and this is by far the best resource I've found on the net. I've been lurking here for about a month and finally figured I'd join up.
