These are so fine!
I grew up around my dad's Colt New Frontier. He loved it and so did I. I didn't think much of .22 Magnum back then however. He also had a matching rifle in the same chambering, a scoped Mossberg Model 340K Chuckster. Just goes to show what I knew.
The .22 Magnum does offer about as much pizzazz as can be had in rim fire cartridges.
The Colt would gen up solid high velocity .22 Long Rifle velocities from its shorter barrel length and with a heavier bullet too.
The Colt New Frontier offers durability and smoothness of action superior to any other brand's .22 single-action revolver models. It'll sure go the distance and look great while doing it. Really, it's heirloom quality.
Sorry, but I got enthused over this one.
Here's the one that once was my dad's, showing a little more wear than ol' ThirdShift's offering here.
