Just wondering if anybody conceal carries a full size px4 beretta and what holster you use for it. I just ordered an Alien Gear 3.0 to try out for four weeks to see if it's gonna work....lol. Even if my full size beretta don't work out because of the length long wise and height wise but not width wise, I may have to get me the sub compact version.

I occasionally carry a full size PX4 in a hybrid holster from Thiesholsters. It's a very comfortable holster once you find the right position for you.

Wow, that holster looks very similar to the alien gear. Maybe there will be hope after all.

Just to put this out there. I am real happy on finding this forum. I do belong to other gun forums besides this one and I also find them a lucky thing in coming across them. (marlinowners and taurusarmed). I been googling and such on finding holsters for my revolvers and already on just this post and others on this site I found a plethora (yes my word of the week :) ) of holsters for my revolvers that I have.

Retention is perfect for me, I'll try to get a picture when I get home. I went with the horsehide option as it is thinner and supposed to be a bit better in regards to sweat resistance.

I carry a 92FS in a similar hybrid style holster from White Hat. Mine is horsehide as well for the same reason.

I carry a revolver and I been looking for a good IWB and they seem pretty reasonable in price and such.

It's been a few years since getting the holster from theisholsters so I'm not sure if his prices have changed. At the time I got all the higher end options I wanted at price point below what the big guys were charging.

I EDC a full-size Beretta PX4 9mm.
My first IWB was a Ramora, which I like and use quite often.

I also bought a Raw Dog single clip hybrid that is relegated to "the box-o-holsters" (sorry, no photo).

My most used with the Storm is a leather holster I made myself,

Fully loaded, I can shake it upside-down and it stays in yet still easy to draw.

The horsehide was primarily the reason I seriously considered a crossbreed but as I mentioned,I went ahead with the Alien Gear for the trial period. A buddy of mine has the AG and he loves his. Course, he carrys a lot smaller pistol, tho. He carries a Taurus Slim.

That's a good lookin holster you made!

I also considered the one that beretta makes that looks just like that one but decided against it for one because Beretta was awful proud of it at 90 bucks and two, I figured a paddle-type holster would be better.

I'm new to all this so, even though I've learned a lot in the past month, I still have a ways to go...lol.

Here are my main carry guns. The M&P Shield, Beretta PX4, and a Beretta 92fs compact. The main holster I use for each are the remora for the shield, Theis hybrid holster for the PX4, and A leather IWB holster from Nelsons for the 92FS compact. I do like my berettas in their Inox finish!

It's not liking photos from my phone. I'll jump on the computer in a minute to upload the pics.

Here ya go:

That's what I'm liking about the alien gear is that it has so much adjustability. If this works out, guess I won't be carrying the extended mag with it...lol. Having 18 rounds of 40 S&W is a good feeling...lol.

Well, got my holster today. Actually feels alright for a full size pistol except I have a bit of an imprinting issue with the grip. First I tried resetting the clips so that the holster rides as low as possible and then tried resetting the front clip to get more clockwise cant. That helped a little but, the end of the grip is still kinda visible.

Any suggestions or do I just need to get a smaller pistol? Which, wouldn't be a bad thing I spose, I'm really interested in my Storm's little, little brother. Lol.

Your going to need to experiment with the position and can't of the holster to find the spot that is a good combination of comfort and possible printing. Lots of factors will affect the printing including body type and clothing. I'm a somewhat larger guy and wear comfortable shirts that are not tight fitting and have no issues in concealing a full size firearm. You may find that you are more comfortable with a smaller gun. That's how the cycle starts! The search for the perfect gun and perfect setup is part of the of the fun. You can never have too many guns or accesories.

What clock position do you wear yours at? The manual for this one says that the 4:30 position is best. Even the 3:00 position is good it says, just not for a slender person. I'm not slender, I'm more of a large frame guy myself.

I primarily just wear tshirts.
