I am not sure who made this map, but I have seen it on many other websites. If anyone knows who gets the credit for it, let me know so I can give them credit.

Yeah, I think Packing.org is one of the places I have seen it as well, among the MANY places it has been posted. I would probably give credit for the photo to Packing.org by default since they are the biggest and most popular guy on the block (and rightly so).

Interesting you should mention Caswell\'s. That is the closest range to me and generally, where I go to shoot. I have been there MANY times and, in fact, took my CCW class there. I am planning on going back and taking their UT/FL combined class this Fall. They are a great bunch of guys and I recommend them to anyone looking for an indoor range, basic shooting, tactical or CCW training in the Phoenix/Mesa, AZ area.

Quick Question, krelvinaz

We are pretty new, how did you find CombatCarry.com?

Hope to see you introduce yourself in the new members area and come back often.

Why from you of course...

Doh! Yeah, I remember now. I was looking for resources to jazz up the board and came across the link to your website. I looked through all of the graphics and logos you did for people and was about to request a header graphic when I read your post that you had stopped doing it. I\'m not real satisfied with my graphical abilities but finally got my initial attempt (a fiasco) replaced with this one tonight which looks a little better. Not great, but at least I don\'t hate it :p

You do good work....

IIRC Kansas tried, but the Govenor vetoed it. So they still are denied.

This map is definitely at packing.org. It is on every state reference page.

WA State

I\'ll never understand how a liberal state like WA is \'shall-issue'concerning weapons permits. Not that I\'m complaining! I\'m thankful.

You should have seen this map in 1970. How many \'must issue'states were there in 1970??

That\'s a good question that would be worth researching. Maybe packing.org could tell us. It would really be interesting to see an animated gif or movie file with the transitions from say 1970 to present.

Probably because mainly King County (Seattle Metro) is the liberal part of the state. The rest of Washington is fairly conservative, and you guys do have critters that like to eat people when they can.

Thanks Scott, and that is just from 1986. What a difference!

I have been fortunate enough to live in a must issue state for most of the last 40 years. Before that a may issue state.

When I was still in the military, Uncle Sam even gave me a permit to carry a switchblade knife.

Took the Utah carry class a couple of weeks ago, need to get printed and send that application in. Utah is a cheap alternative to Florida.
