While the Crossbreed band is a well made belly band, it is bulky since there are additional layers of material to include the kydex inserts. I've used other brands of belly bands for years and never experienced retention problems. I think there are thinner, reliable and less costly options out there.

That was my impression of the original Crossbreed belly band, and this new improved design seems every bit as bulky. Not too many of us need to add a few more inches to our waists. Given that, I know that some people have written very glowing reviews of them.
