I've heard some CS9's will shoot to different POI's with different ammo, and sometimes the differences are not so small. I've got a CS45 on the way, and I'm wondering if any CS45 owners have experienced anything similar with their .45.

For those who have tried different ammo in your CS45, what were your choices and results? What have you shot that is closest to POA?

I realize I'll have to test my gun with different ammo to get a final answer, but I'm hoping to perhaps save some time and money by listening to the experiences of others. What ammo works for you? Did you find significant differences between brands and loads?

My Ex owned one and her duty ammo was 230gr Hydra Shok, training ammo was 230gr Remington FMJ. It shot the same groups with both. As far as I know that was all it got fired with., though.

I was shooting low left at first, then I read about anticipating recoil and I finally got so I could hit an area the size of a chest at 10 yds.
I am definately not a good shot as far as target groups go,but she isn't a target gun.
I don't have a problem with concealing her,I use Fist leather #6 and Kydex #10.
Recoil isn't bad and follow up shots are good because you can feel the sear reset and don't go all the way fwd with the trigger.
I've only put around 300 rds through her and she seems to like Remington 230 grain FMJ and Golden Sabre.I've never had a problem with feeding or ejecting even with lead handloads.
I put Big Dog grips on and never looked back.I would definately recommend one to anybody looking for a fairly compact 45acp.

Both Rem and W-W 230 hardball shoot same POA as the 230 Hydra shok I carry in my H&K USPc and Taurus 1911.

I didn't try a bunch of different ammo - but the few I did - any difference wasn't noticeable.

Mostly I carry with Federal's EFMJ .45 rounds.

Sometimes I carry with Winchester's FMJ's cause one guy said - who cares if it doesn't expand - the .45 already huge like it is....

Thanks for the info, everyone. I finally got my CS45 in hand, and hope to have a chance to shoot it toward the end of this month.
