Hello,

My first post here...I discovered the forum by searching Google for info about the Kangaroo soft shoulder holster, and subsequently learned about the Deep Conceal Shoulder holster from Gunner Security here.

I live in a very hot climate (AZ), so I'm thinking the Kangaroo would be better as it's made of cotton, but I like the extra pockets and shoulder strap of the Deep Conceal product. I also like the price better on the Kangaroo, but I guess it's not a huge difference in the grand scheme.

Has anyone owned or used both of these products? How would you compare them? How about the heat issue (ie, is the elastic construction of the Deep Conceal very hot)? Is there anything else similar in price and design to these that I should consider (not really interested in the t-shirt holsters at this point)?

Thanks for any help or insight!

Welcome...

from Central Florida!

FL can be hot, but also does not allow OC...I do not find shoulder holsters convenient when they have to be concealed. Just a loose T-shirt combined with one of several OWB/IWB holsters works for me.
Good luck in your search.

If you mean this one #234 DeepConcealment Shoulder Holsters

I have one in white, large, w/thumb break (just a strip of velcro)
It feels like I would imagine wearing a bra feels like:rofl:
but it worked well for my Kel-tec PF-9. I like that there are absolutely no issues when watering urinal cakes or bombing pearl harbor, and it is more easily accessable when belted in a car seat. (ripping your top buttons open, not withstanding)

That being said, I find I rarely use it anymore, defering to my smart carry when I cant wear an overshirt for concealment. I guess I just don't like the way it feels.

Mostly I use a CrossBreed MiniTuck IWB for the Kel-tec and a Comp-tac Minataur for the S&W M&P 9

It's used but I'll sell it to you for $25 + shipping. PM me.

Reminds me of Fish (Abe Vigoda) on the old show Barney Miller.

I've got some other holster styles that work OK, just wanted to try this one to see if it was another to have in the tool bag.

onetuza, not sure about buying something like this used but I'll send you a PM to see what you have.
