I carry a Glock 27 and recently bought a new Glock 22 RTF for range shooting. I like the looks of the "gills" slide serations and the new textured finish didn't seem too bad when I handled it at the gun store. After shooting 100 rounds at the range, I was having second thoughts about the sandpaper like finish on the frame.
Solution...I put on a Hogue Handall slip on grip and WOW, it's like the grip is now custom made to fit my hand, yet I can still feel part of the texture above and below the slip on sleeve. This has made all the difference in the world and I'm looking forward to another trip to the range for a test run.
Anyone else have a similar experience?
