My county library has a magazine and periodical recycling section where in the past, I've found some good stuff, like a bunch of 1950s and 60s American Rifleman magazines. Today I found a Collector's Edition 1996 Colt Firearms catalog.
Ah, the good old days. Imagine, just 9 years ago, Colt was selling 28 different models of the M1911 pistol, 9 different models of the .380 Gov't & Mustang pistols, 9 different models of the Python, 6 models of the Anaconda, 12 variants of the Single Action Army revolver, as well as the .22 Target, the Double Eagle, the King Cobra, the Detective Special, & 7 variants of the AR15.
It's enough to make a grown man cry. :frown:
