Here is a really good video where the guys test a variety of top quality defensive ammo. They shoot through clothing as well as windshield glass, and show you the velocity, expansion, weight retention, etc. The video includes Speer GD JHP 9mm, 40 and 45.

thanks for posting. Surprisingly minor differences between 9, .40, and .45. Far less then I expected at least.

I have been preaching that forever and a day. No I am not turning this into another caliber debate, but with good, modern JHP ammo, it really doesn't matter what you use, just shoot center mass.

Yea, I don't want a caliber debate either. It just makes me think that what I already own will be just fine...
