Maybe some forum member from Massachusetts knows of a manufacturing company or machine shop in Mass that is making Colt type slides, barrels, extractors, etc. The slides are of high quality and fully machined (not cast) from 4140 carbon & also 416 Stainless steel. The seller is selling from Ludlow, Mass.
The seller name is Remsport1 He is NOT selling anything right now but, a pile of his auctions just closed. AKA are now over.
I sent him an e-mail quite some time ago (requesting more information) & he told me that his company was making/machining contract slides for a large gun company & their contract recently ran out or was not renewed. He would not tell me WHO his company was producing slides FOR. I guess for obvious reasons. SO...I searched the WEB for "Remsport" & nothing came up. So (also obviously) he made the company name up also. Just curious...Does anyone recognize these slides on any Brand Name semi~auto???
The barrels he was selling looked VERY NICE and about as high of a quailty (machine wise) as BarSto or Kart. I did place a LOSING bid on the Stainless Flat Top slide so I am really just curious at this point what company this is that makes Colt stuff for WHO???
Anybody Know  ...chime in.

FYI, his auctions might have been closed by ebay management since weapons and their component pieces are forbidden for sale or purchase there.
