I have a FEG PJK-9HP pistol that was imported by Kassnar Imports with a serial number of F289xx. It is a Browning 9mm Hi-Power clone. The finish on the outside is really good quality but the finish on the inside is very poor quality. The barrell is one of the nicest I have seen in a gun and it is extremely accurate. The gun is in really good condition.

Does anyone know when this gun was manufactured and what it might be worth?

FEG is a Hungarian manufacturer that has been making weapons for their army and police and other communist block countries since the turn of the 21st century. There are two versions of the high power one is double action with the safety on the slide and the other is single action with the safety in the frame.

I have a PA-63 in 9mm Mac with Wolf springs and a trigger job that is just plain fun to shoot and is very accurate. The fit and finish on the FEG hi power is pretty good and they are good shooters. Machine marks on the inside of frames and slides are ugly but can be polished out. Many of the Browning parts will interchange with very little fitting. They were very cheap several years ago, but shooters began to find out how good they really are. I believe Century still imports them. $350.00 to 450.00 is fairly typical on the auction sites.

Your gun replaced the PA-63 in the late 60s or early 70s the best I can recall. FEG has a web site with a lot of company history that may answer more of your questions about the pistol.
