January 4, 2016, the Attorney General signed ATF Final
Rule 41F
Destructive Devices and Certain Other Firearms; Background Checks for
Responsible Persons of a Trust or Legal Entity with Respect to Making or
Transferring a Firearm
which goes into effect on July 13, 2016.
The goal of this rule is to amend the National Firearms Act (NFA) regulations
to ensure that identification and background check requirements apply equally
to individuals, trusts, and legal entities that apply to make or receive NFA

A trust's responsible person should read this ruling

ATF Webpage describes how final rule 41F changes current NFA regulations.

I think this is great it removes the CLEO sign off. I know it's more hassle for the trusts having to provide prints everytime though. It's great for the individual. I love though all the sheriffs that refuse to sign the form are being overridden by this. There is gonna be a lot of happy people that after the sheriff refused to sign the form they can walk back in and notify them of there intent to purchase a NFA item. I would have a big smile on my face.
