US Marshall's have checked out the DC jail they are being held in and reporting egregious conditions. Poor or tainted food, denying bibles when asked, solitary confinement for months. They should immediately release any people who have not been charged or brought to trial. This ain't Venezuela yet.

I completely agree that police state tactics used on the Jan. 6 defendants is unconstitutional and reprehensible. But I also think the whole Jan. 6 protest was a "futile and stupid gesture" that not only accomplished nothing, but was a net negative for conservatives. It was a setup by Pelosi and the FBI that ought to be judged entrapment. Unfortunately a lot of conservative activists fell for it hook, line and sinker and it probably cost us the "Red Wave" we should have had in the midterms.

I'm attending a political debate Thursday night and one of the debaters, my state senator Amanda Chase, was one of the speakers at the political rally on Jan. 6 with Trump. She has staunchly defended the protest and her participation in the rally. I plan to ask her about it during the Q&A. I'll post what she says.

Lessee, last year 4 members of The Oath Keepers were convicted of the very rare charge of Seditious Conspiracy for their part in the festivities that occurred 6 January 2021.

Personally I think the rally was the dumbest of a long list of very dumb ideas conjured up in the fever dreams of DJT however the OK leadership had the testicular fortitude to act on those very bad ideas.
