After waiting since 2012 for Beretta to release this teeny, tiny pocket gun I finally got mine in November of last year (2014) and have waited to see what my favorite gun reviewer would say. I fully expected him to trash this extreme little gun even though he always strives (and succeeds!) in being fair and objective. Truthfully he reviews the gun and shows it very well for exactly what it is - an extremely small/thin gun built like a tank but definitely not a beginners gun nor for folks with big hands.
Surprisingly I think Hickok45 actually reviewed the gun more fairly than I could have although I shoot it better than he does....probably because I have small hands and have trained with this gun a lot. Not for beginners or folks with large hands, this is possibly the most extreme pistol I have ever owned or shot and I thoroughly love mine and carry it everywhere as a BUG/New York Reload.
If you have been even a little bit interested in the Beretta Pico you'll need to watch the video - love it or hate it, it's all good. This one is definitely not for everyone. I agree with Hickok45 on every point from the fact that this gun is not for beginners to the point that it has probably the best sights of any super small pistol. Mine, like his, has been very reliable and I have 1000+ rounds of hand loaded hot .380 thru mine featuring 100 gr. flat noses running over 1000 fps. I also have no use for the pinky extension and use the flush mags as well. Great minds think alike, I guess.
