Well I was finally able to go out and take my SC CWP Class today :smile:. Now comes the 90 day wait. Good news is that SLED is not backed up anymore to the point where it would take 130-150 days to issue a license. Thanks to the informative nature of DC I also went in with a firm understanding of all that was discussed. Thanks to everybody who contributes to make this site so great.

beni - congrats on your completion of CWP class.
After you get the permit you might want to look into obtaining a FL permit which will let you CC in GA and of course FL.

One thing that was really stressed was deescalation of potentially heated situations. As long as you tried to deescalate and it doesn't work and you can't get away then it would be considered a defensive situation if you were attacked.

Way to go! As you now know, the course is soOoo easy, 'even a caveman could do it'. Oh, one without a felony of course.
