If u have ccw in fl do you still have to wait when buying handgun in dade or broward county

CWFL would be the correct term. No waiting period; but your FFL will still call in your back-round check -- takes about 5 minutes.

I you have CWFL you skip the waiting period; the FFL dealer will still call and do a background check during the time you are waiting, which only takes a few minutes. It takes longer time to pick the right firearm than to be out of there. Sometimes I like FL :image035:

CCW is an accepted abbreviation for "Carry Concealed Weapon".
CWFL is the abbreviation for Concealed Weapon or Firearm License and is printed across the top of a Florida License.

Not trying to start an argument-- just a desire to use correct terminology.
