This whole Circuit Courts thing goes much further than just guns. The radical left in its entirety is doing everything it can to undermine and render ineffectual the current administration at every turn, on every topic of its agenda.

Unfortunately for these idiots on the left, they have legitimized reckless and lawless behavior we have come to call "protests"

They will rue the day an armed populace decides to practice their rights to "protest".

Yeah, pretty much doing precisely what the GOP did for 8 years under Obama. I'm optimistic that their last one goes to SCOTUS but that's maybe a case of "be careful what you wish for" since we don't know what they will do if they do hear it. Even Heller was very close, now the court is 4/4.

Really wish the courts (across the board) would cease their "legislation from the bench" and return to their constitutional responsibility of assuring that the EXISTING laws are...upheld. The only folks who can CREATE laws (IMHO) are legislators! :soapbox:

It's really only because they were given extra powers under the last administration and because they agreed with its policies that courts have gotten away with all of this. Even SCOTUS has been doing it, so yes, be careful what you wish for. The only ones that can turn things back to how they were is the president.

Obama appointed over 400 judges. So he did a lot of damage. SCOTUS is the firewall.

As President Obama was authorized and required to nominate judges. The GOP blocked almost half of his Constitutionally required appointments so they too did a lot of damage. Naked partisanship would lead one to believe that all appointments made by a President you don't like to be invalid but this view is ignorant and contrary to the Constitution.

I think it's hard to tell. Even Scalia said that the 2A isn't absolute, that it is subject to regulation, and he was probably the most right wing on the court. If an "assault weapon"" ban comes to the high court I don't know for sure where everyone stands. If Gorsuch is confirmed it would help the pro-gun case for sure.

Lets not forget that while the Supreme Court may theoretically be split 4/4 right now we do have nominee waiting to be confirmed and we have a sitting justice who has pancreatic cancer. We could be looking at a 6/3 court within a year.

Even the unconstitutional ones? What law has a court ever created, ever?
