Never ending debate about large and slow vs small and fast. The .357 Sig is almost twice as fast but half the size. Recoil is similar, but the .45 is as push and the .357 is a snap. The G30 feels like a moose compared to my G33. Thick as a brick.

Hey, I have those same high dollar grips on my G22 and G36. I love them. Did not like the way a Glock felt in my hand until my nephew showed me that trick several years ago. Best Glock Mod on the market is you don't mind spending $2.00. I noticed you didn't mention how the G29 compared in recoil. I have a 10MM 1911. I would imagine when people state the 40 cal is snappy that they would have to come up with a new word for full power 10MM.

I usually only shoot full power 10mm loads in my G-20. Bike tire inner tubes are worn on all my polymer framed guns...even my little .380's.

I think that .357 sig is one of the coolest rounds out there right now. My true love is the 10mm though.

The glock 33 is affectionately known as "the pocket rocket". At over 1500fps and up to 1625fps depending on ammo those in the know will tell you it's the best round out there. However, not all manufacturers make a gun for the round and its high cost of ammo turn off many prospective buyers. From my experience mine shots flat and is very controllable. If you don't mind the cost of ammo I believe you can't go wrong. Oh yeah, and with glock you can drop a .40 cal barrell in and have an instant G27.
