The question is for you guys that carry the G23, or guys that carry very similar size weapons. Any input would be appreciated. I really hate going through a $1000 worth of rigs trying to find the right one to carry a $500 weapon.
What have you found to be the most comfortable and concealable holster?

C3NH, Ive looked pretty hard at that one, but was concerned about bulk printing. Im on that old fashioned fried food diet and have built in bulk already. Im 5'9" and float around 180-190, depending.
Do you think a fatty can pull off wearing this one?

Well, thats encouraging. I really dont want to carry this thing IWB. Its too tight for some jeans and too hot. Being in Florida, you can imagine that t-shirts are uniform of the day. Hopefully just thick cotton and big in the barrel will do the trick.

Been away for a couple of days, but thank you all for the input. Im seriously looking at a few holsters mentioned in this thread that I had not considered before. Especially the KD, since he's ex-navy and here in Florida. We already have those things in common. Im also looking at a Galco and Milt Sparks. Im glad I asked for advice.

oregonshooter, thanks for the offer. Its not really what I had pictured, but it does look nice.

ExSoldier762, Im in Jax. Whatever I settle on has to have a very tight ride, since I wear t-shirts most of the time.

Cool Mike. I'll probably pull the trigger on a holster this week. I tend to overthink sometimes. Comes from years of hasty decisions that came back to bite me.
Did you, by chance, order a belt too?

I wonder what KD would charge to inscribe "Dont worry about this holster unless its empty". :biggrin2:
