Most glow in the dark paints offered by other companies are top quality, except that they are not designed to withstand the heat and harsh conditions firearms can be subjected to.

Here is a visual examination of hi quality glow in the dark paint and Glow-On Super Phosphorescent side by side.

Here's a point:

To buy a large container of glow paint, just because is larger, doesn't make any sense if it doesn't have enough density to provide a good glow?

Glow-On gun sights paint opacity test.

Other brands and craft paints use a "gel" medium for a good reason: They use very small amounts of glow material in their mix. One of the most popular products for sale online has merely 20% of the total.

Those products tend to be soft, they lack adhesion, they burn with heat, they're transparent so yu need to paint a white background for the glow to show.

Glow-On on the other hand, dries to the consistency of synthetic concrete, Glow-On has superior adhesion, it stands a lot of heat, Glow-On is opaque so it covers from the first layer, no need for a white background.

After it dries completely it has a hard consistency and while is retains some flexibility. its density makes it harder and more shock prof than any other paint on the market

Glow-On gun sights paint, adhesion test on a 2.5 pound weight.

Glow-On adhesion test on a 2.5 pound weight.
We let it dry for 4 days to make sure it's dry.
Observe the other two examples, rubbery material won't stick to your gun sights for long.
