There are currently 50 bills affecting firearms ownership and concealed carry in Virginia. This is the short session year so they only have 60 days. It is also an election year for all the delegates in the house. :flyaway:

HB 2424 The restaraunt ban repeal is dead.

HB2928 Passed awaiting the Govenor. This one changes the permit system so a Sheriff or other CLEO can't just say you can't have a permit. They have to swear to it in court and testify to facts as to why you cannot have a permit.

HB 2935 To repeal the rule prohibiting openly carried firearms in Capital Square, is dead.

HB2931 Eliminates the State Police form that is nearly identical to the BATF form. Replaces it with a concent to background check form. Awaiting a vote in the Senate.

HB2282 Shooting ranges cannot be denied a permit or closed due to noise. Reported out of committee awaiting a Senate vote.

The repeal of the gun of the month club also failed.

Zach ask your local Commonwealth's Attorney on carrying multiple guns. Mine says it is ok. They CAs are the ones who will refer charges against you if it is against the law. They make the call.
