I don't really see the benefit. The Tewl kit may be sent to you for that "subscription" price of $48.95 per month, but you're not really saving or getting a deal on anything, because you are still subscribed. So, you're on the hook. The kit is simply an inducement. In the end you are really paying more if the subscription doesn't render anything else that's worth anything.
I don't see the attraction of paying to get random stuff sent to me, stuff I may or may not want. If I want a piece of gear, I'll find the best price on exactly what I want and order it. I am a vet and I give to to veterans causes I feel are worth supporting, directly. BTW, I hope everyone is aware that a lot of veterans charities are scams.
