The SSII is really for a Government, but it'll do for glory pictures until I get the right size from the boys in Idaho. Six months.........Will have to live with a tan SSII from Brownells until the order shows up.

You will have to update me on how it shoots compared to the Kimber. I have several Kimbers and I want to add a Colt 1911 just have not found the right one yet.

The style of grip safety depends on the model, Colt uses at least three different grip safeties on the Commander size pistols.
