Opened up the mailbox today and there was the envelope from AZ DPS. Finally after 3.5 months my permit arrived !

Since it was over 100 degrees my "Summer Gear" got to accompany me on my walks.

Walk #1 - Dog Walk. Happy to report that Fido and I made it back without any problems.

Walk #2 - WWW. As usual the ammo shelves were barren for 9mm ... no movies caught my eye ... checked out a new grill.

Walk #3 - Safeway. Picked up some Jelly Belly jellybeans ( for me ) and Frosty Paws for the dog.

All in all pretty uneventful.

The summer rig consists of a Kahr P9 in a Desantis Nemesis pocket holster.

Thanks folks. Unfortunately I didn't get any nachos ( since I ate a Baconator ) about an hour earlier.

I made my self promise I would fiddle with my pocket, shorts , holster ...etc. so I wouldn't draw attention to myself. Made sure to make eye contact with people ... so not to seem shady ...

I think I tired myself out just trying to make sure I looked normal. Hopefully in time it'll become second nature.
