OK, the title is mis-leading. The government didn't take it over. They sent a request/demand and the owner complied. Big, big difference.
I'm sure the government made some serious threats to intimidate the owner.OK, the title is mis-leading. The government didn't take it over. They sent a request/demand and the owner complied. Big, big difference.

Let me punch you in the face, until I determine if I have the authority to do so."They asked that I take it down while they determine if they have the authority to control the info,"
You don't; now stop . . . please. :boxing: :vollkommenauf:Let me punch you in the face, until I determine if I have the authority to do so.
I should clarify myself. I don't think it's right. It's the difference between a cop showing up at your door and asking you to turn over your guns vs. a SWAT team breaking down your door and taking them. From the article:
"Until further notice, the United States government claims control of the information.”
"They asked that I take it down while they determine if they have the authority to control the info,"."
My Response :
I guess you are right, but the government "Claimed control of the information." I guess I should have said, "Government takes over information on website." I see little difference
"We've got to hurry up and pass this law, so we can find out what's in it!"Shouldn't be surprising. The government does that sorta thing all the time. "I'm going to tell you to do x while I figure out if I can make you do x"

Yes its still legal for the moment. Problem is, he has taken all of the machining out of the equation. Now anyone can build one. That has the gubment scared....Isn't it still legal (federally, at least) to build your own firearm without a license, as long as you don't sell it?
Isn't it time the "gubment" got scared? Instead of "we the people"?Yes its still legal for the moment. Problem is, he has taken all of the machining out of the equation. Now anyone can build one. That has the gubment scared....
