Just found out about this site the other day. My name is Chris and i'm 33 yrs old (about to turn 34). Settled in GA after serving in the USAF for 8 yrs. Have had my CCW permit for 2 yrs. My main carry wep used to be an SA XD-9 sc, but since i have been bitten by the 1911 bug, my SA Champion loaded is my baby. I carry it in a Brigade holster on a Bianchi belt.

Look foward to chattin with you guys.

Damn.
Many many years ago I was stationed there at Turner AFB.
All those SAC types and little old us stiffed away in a corner of the base all to ourselves.

Greetings Woody (see even us Army guys will talk to airforce folks). The stainless will go along way in helping during our southern sumers and all that sweat.
Howdy Woody.

Woody is a good guy of the first order and that XD pictured above is one sweet shooter.
Thx for that second pic of the Springer Woody - what a beaut'
Welcome to the forum!
Airforceshooter, Would youbelieve that Turner today, is a Miller Brewing Plant? Miller had the old runways crushed into aggregate, a couple of the hangers are used for equipment storage, the rest are gone. The city built a golf course and some of the old ammo bunkers are on the back nine. I'm not sure what happened to the warhead bunkers.
Welcome:wave:

I know they turned it into a brewery. Sort of natural though.
Anytime I was there ( not a lot if I could help it. Bless TDY and expense reports) I consumed one heck of a lot of beer and Jack if my expense report came through.

What a waste of all that concrete.

Thanks for the welcome and comments guys:smile:
