Custom made to my specifications:

9.5 inch cutting edge/10.0 blade length of Damascus steel

Premium grade elk horn stag which is the best piece of stag I've seen on a knife.

Advantage camo southern comfort kydex sheath made by Mike Sastre of www.Rivercitysheaths.com

Carried ocassionally as it is legal to do so here in Az.

I love that Damascus pattering - quite beautiful.

What it does do tho is remind me of just how much time and effort went into the forging - so many stages and sweat too!!!

Hard to tell from the pics but, is the spine pretty thick? And so gives adequate weight and stiffness? Lovely and very unique knife.

P95;

Thanks again for the thoughts on the Covington.

The spine is 3/16th inch, and this one takes an edge that is very aggressive in cutting. The weight is very good. It is somewhat heavier than the Hells Belle by Bagwell so it is a little slower in the flow drills.

The southern comfort sheaths by Mike Sastre who owns www.rivercitysheaths.com are the way to carry these big boys. They disappear and can be drawn with speed that is hard to imagine.
