Gun control advocates at preparing for their next move. What that means is the we need to continue our efforts. Talk to more casual gun owners. Convince them to join the NRA and local groups. Continue to donate time, effort and money. Most importantly, VOTE!

The main advantage we have is numbers and we are active. Imagine if more gun owners stood up?

What's Left For Gun-Control Advocates After Crash-And-Burn In Senate? - Courant.com

BTW, it seems that Murphy is praying for a mass shooting. What a scumbag.

Just wanted to mention that I've spent the last week in DC visiting our capitol and just spent today at Washington's Mount Vernon estate. Our Founding Fathers were quite something.

The Anti-Americans are certainly hoping for a "Crisis" and some Federal Court Appointments with possibly 3 mega-liberal, anti-gun, Supreme Court Justice Appointments.
We will need every good citizen to join our moderate PACs, such as the NRA, SAF, GOA, NSSF, NAGR, etc., whether they are gun owners or not.

Many people do not understand these groups fight for our 'entire U.S. Constitution', not just our crucial 2nd Amendment.

I joined the NRA in 1971 as a Life Member ($500. I had to borrow, and took me more than a year to pay off) and have paid annual dues ever since.

Eventually joined the GOA, then the SAF, etc.
About 5 years ago, I set up a (modest) automatic monthly e-payment to the NRA to fight the socialists that wish to destroy our 'way-of-life'.

I downloaded the "NRA-ILA" free toolbar, or always visible 'favorites' link on all my browser toolbars. I also have all my State & National House & Senate Congressional Reps' contact info in a folder in my favorites &/or bookmarks. I have been using them a lot lately !! (2-3 hours a day)

Sometimes, I wonder why, out of 160 million gun owners in this country, only 4.8 million have bothered to join the NRA. Too many freeloaders, each with an excuse. This is why we will probably lose our gun-rights in the next few years.

Our Founding Fathers blow me away.

We owe a great deal of gratitude to not only our Founding Fathers, but to all of our Patriots who fought for the glorious cause of freedom and liberty.

In regard to your question regarding the gun-grabbers next steps, I believe they will keep chiseling away at the state level.

They are now saying that they should have acted sooner after the Sandy Hook shooting. So, that tells me that they are just salivating at the next mass shooting so they can push hard and fast for anti-gun legislation.

They are a bunch of sick whacko's.

It's an effort to control the discussion. They can claim that anyone that doesn't want to strip us of gun rights is against 'gun safety'. Immediately puts us on the defensive.

They have perverted 'compromise' and 'common sense' in the same way.

The most-threatening part of that article is the recognition of the 60-vote shenanigans that was invoked for this stuff. Had it been the normal majority approval required, nearly all this stuff would have passed.

Something to keep in mind, when noodling on how close the Constitution is to being wrapped into a tight little ball, with respect to RKBA. And with how waffling and nearly out of its mind SCOTUS is, on the issue, we're far closer than that. KEEP UP THE PRESSURE, on all of our local/state/national representatives and their staff, and every other policy maker you can find. Teach a dozen folks to love shooting and self-reliance for their own security/safety. Beware the wolves in the back yard.

- It's the same reason the AP is removing the term "illegal immigrant" from their dictionary.
