Wow, I didn't catch it anywhere but I'd be curious as to the details like ammo caliber, or what era the stuff was from. Looks like someone had one heck of a bug out plan.

The grenades are probably stolen army property. There's more stolen from US bases that DoD cares to admit. Glad this stuff was found.

But But what about the laws saying we cant have live grenades.??? That should have stopped this from happening. Actually I think this is a hoax. Since it is against the law its not possible that anyone would or could steal or otherwise get grenades. :duh:

Actually in some States we can possess hand grenades,they have to be purchased just like other NFA Items and a record kept,if you blow one up you document the event

You're a senior member now. You must know that msgt/ret is not talking about the movie but about our government's arming drug cartels. Our government that was calling for tougher gun laws to stop the arming of drug cartels :yup: Are the dazzling moving pictures causing you to forget current events or what?

Back in the day I worked for the Forest Service in Tonto National. That's big country and there's an infinite number of things to do there and and equal number of places to hide while you're doing them. If they keep digging they may find enough to supply a Calvary division. In '79 there were growers and trafficking. They found bales of weed in District 4 that year. There were preppers and some folks that I'd put down as wanna be anarchists. I knew a couple of guys living up there because there were cetain types of folks in Phoenix that were looking for them. Old mining cabins up on the rim were put into service to house some of these whack jobs. Even the tree huggers were pretty well armed. The more folks I met that year the weirder things seemed to get. Nothing reported from that area could surprise me.

I got to take all of that in from behind the wheel of a '68 Buick Wildcat. Wish I had it still.
