I've been away from practice for a few years now, but looking to get started shooting again.
In particular, I am interested in obtaining my CCW permit for Arizona.
I'd appreciate any recommendations on an instructor or course.

Up there in Scottsdale, Scottsdale Gun Club has excellent facilities. I got my CCW at Shooter's World at 28th Ave and Indian School, and the class was fine. There are also classes offered at Ben Avery on I-17 near Anthem.
