Hi my name is Rhome and I reside in CA. ( I know poor me ) :urlaub2: anyway I'm married and we have 4 grown children :banana: I was in the service in the early 70's and am a disabled Vet. as a result of my injuries I was forced to retire early. I was active in IPSC and IDPA but now to pass the time I make holsters or should I say attempt to make holsters. I am an avid 1911 man but living in the Bay Area a ccw is out of the question, we are planning to move to Madera Co. CA later this yr. where I can obtain a ccw. Well thats about it , I enjoy reading all the threads.

Welcome, Rhome. I was just in CA a couple of weeks ago. I was stationed at Fort Ord 1971-74 and went back to visit the Monterey area for the first time since leaving in '74. What has happened to that great old post is enough to make a grown man cry.
