Hello, all.
Just joined today, 12//23/04 after linking here from The High Road.

What is there to say about me?

Well, been shooting, primarily handguns, since 1973 when I was 18. (Yeah, I\'m an old fart.)

Got my first handgun, a S&W Model 14, Combat Masterpiece, when I was 18. Traded to a Model 19 4\", then found out you couldn\'t get a CCW in Michigan unless you were a cop, a prosecutor, or \"connected\" so I traded the 19 off for a Ruger Super Single-Six.

Joined the local Sheriff\'s department as a
Reserve Deputy and still couldn\'t get a General CCW, although our Sheriff told us it would be okay to carry anywhere anytime in the county as he\'d stick up for us. Riiiiiight, especially when we had the Prosecutor in to one of our meetings and he told us we didn\'t qualify as LEO so if we were ever arrested for CCW he\'d prosecute.

Moved to Indiana about 6 years ago, got my CHL here as soon as I met residency requirements and haven\'t looked back since.

I carry a Kimber Compact CDP, usually in a Blade-Tech paddle (travel holster) or a Milt Sparks #60 TK.

Glad to be here and I\'ll visit on a regular basis!
