hi there,
just wanted to introduce myself to the fine people here on the forum. I have been shooting, hunting, and lerning respect for firearms from the time i could barely walk. I am trying my best to pass these traits down to my 3 children as much as i can. All 3 of them are getting extremely proficient with marksmanship as well as breaking down and properly caring for and cleaning the weapons we own. This coming season will be the first year i take one of them (my son) hunting with me. Needless to say, he is very excited.
I just took my class last weekend for my CHL. I don't want to carry any of the handguns that i own now as a daily carry. I am looking for some discussion on caliber size and dependability as well as prices. With 3 kids i am on a budget as you may already know. I will direct further discussions of this nature to the appropriate topic area.
anyway, just thought i would drop by and say hello before i start posting.
