I was directed here from The High Road and I recognize a few members here, also.

This looks like a good place to pick up some info.

I live in Orange County, California, and as a Non-LEO citizen, I feel lucky to possess a CCW.

I am limited to 3 handguns.

First choice: SIG 229R with Nill Grips and XS Safety 24/7 Big Dot sights. I carry this in either a Milt Sparks Versa Max II or Executive Companian IWB holster.

Second choice: Glock 30 with XS Safety 24/7 Big Dot sights. I also carry this in either a Milt Sparks Versa Max II or Executive Companian IWB holster.

Third choice: S&W 340PD with aftermarket wood grips. I carry this in a Safariland inside-the-pocket holster or a Milt Sparks Summer Special II IWB at about 4 O'clock. I also have a belly-band holster for this when I go jogging, and, of course, a fanny pack just for the hell of it.
