Are hollow points allowed for self defense in Tennessee with a conceal carry permit? Don't have it yet I'm just wondering. Thanks

Yes they are.

But don't take the word of some random guy on the internet. We could be totally wrong and you could end up in jail. Check the rules yourself just to be sure.

You do not get a "concealed carry permit" in TN. You get a handgun carry permit. You then can carry any way you wish.

Not very many people open carry, but it's legal once you have the carry permit.

The permit class covers the state laws, and there is a written test, and also a range shooting test. You should write any questions you have and ask them when you take your class.

The only state that I am aware of that does not allow hollow points is New Jersey and your TN permit is not good there anyhow.

Anyone else know of a state that does not allow hollow points?
