my primary summer carry piece is my XD 9 SC or bersa thunder .380. (the bersa's a much thinner gun). both are much smaller than the USP.
If you're looking for a small, thin gun, the Kahr is tough to beat.
for the guy who mentioned having to leave his gun in the car at school, etc, I'm a fan of my bersa b/c it has one of those integral locking systems. It makes me feel a little better that if they get the gun off the cable lock in my locked glovebox, they're not going to be to use it immediately. for students/people forced to leave their gun in a car, i highly recommend this feature in their firearms.
