Well, it's been a little over 13 months now since obama was elected (Nov '08). Gun sales have soared, and many people attribute this to obama and his administration (I know that was the case with me).

So how many guns have you purchased since obama was elected?

I have purchased 9:
1 AR
1 AK
2 .22 rifles
5 handguns, various calibers

Not because of the election so much but I never pass up a good buy on a firearm I like.

A savage .22 rifle and an HK USPc (that I eventually traded for a Sig P229).

Neither of those because of Obama. I did buy my AR-15 several months before the election to beat the rush and price gouging.

Two, but not because of the election. One was a good deal, and the other is something that I had been looking at.

None were are a result of the election but let's see...

Sig P6, Sig P229, Glock 23 and I think that's it.

A Sig, a Benelli Shotgun and a Muzzledoader and a Colt.

The fools in office had nothing to do with it.

I just happened to be in the right spot at the right time and the deals were to good to pass up.

I've picked up four new firearms in the last 13 months, and none of them was as a direct result of outside influence. My only buying habits that were changed as in obvious direct relation to the "election" was in ammunition purchases.

Two, but those purchases have nothing to do with Obama being elected.

None, already have more than I need.
One is more than you need according to Sarah Brady :duh:, how many do you want? How about a spare when the primary is broken?

!0+, but not because of election, I just have had more disposable money lately. I plan to peuchase at least 5 more in the next year. I can't afford one gun a month. I was trying there for awhile but a few emergencys came up.
The guns I have been looking for have not been available, so I have been holding off.
