I lost track, and my stock can vary. For each caliber, probably around 200-600 rounds - more in .22, .223, 7.62 x 54 and 12 gauge, a lot less in others like .380 and .32-20.
Well, I just reloaded another 80 9mm, so I think I am up to about300 or so. Got 300 40, (don\'t have the gun anymore.), about 50 12 ga, and maybe 70 7.62x54R. Gotta stock up.....and get those pesky 7.62x54R dies!
Probably 200 - 300 on average although I am frequently out of one caliber or another, usually 9mm or .40. I am NEVER out of .45 or 12ga and just in case meme swings by I keep a brick of .22 LR in the safe.
450+ Shotgun shells(I don\'t know what\'s in my range tub from the last outing)
6000+ rimfire
3000 centerfire pistol
1800 centerfire rifle
150 loads for BP rifle
100 loads for BP pistol (actually I need some powder for these)
Ooops I just remembered my neighbor gave me 3000 rounds of rimfire and about 750 shotgun shells that I haven\'t fully inventoried and moved in to the magazine yet.
I usually buy ammo 1000 rds at a time for pistol, and 250-500 rds at a time for rifle and shotgun.
I only have 405 clays on hand, so I need another box of those. Hoping to shoot some skeet this week after it warms up a bit.
Two hundred or so for each hangun, 100 for shotgun, varies for the rifles depending on prices at the local gunshow. I only buy those maybe twice a year.
About 1000 per gun of reloads, maybe another 100 per gun of defense loads.
If we ever have a fire, between ammo and reloading components, we\'re gonna
be making a really big smokin hole!!
It has been almost 7 years since I closed our gun store, and had the auction. Stuff that did not sell was sold to other dealers, but ammo all came home.
Found I had almost 4000 rounds of .22 WRF, so last year found a nice S&W 22 mag to shoot the stuff in. Who knows what I will find next:question::question:
About 1,000 rounds of 9mm, and maybe 800 rounds of 38 special at the moment. Plus miscellaneous boxes of defensive loads, etc. Reloading is enjoyable, and generally stays far ahead of the amount I get to shoot. Never thought I\'d get to say that!!! :O Steven
As bumper can testify I can reach in the safe and pick most any caliber. When I bought the safe I bought the 4 foot wide just so I could stock all my ammo. 800 lb safe with 800 lbs of ammo, bolted to the concrete floor, go ahead and steal it if you can.
