I've had my Beretta Nano since April, and after having the extractor replaced it's been flawless, but in the back of my mind, I still worry about it's reliability.

I chose glock the glock 19 because of its proven track record of reliability (I've seen some negative reviews about the earlier gen 4 pistols, but from what I've read the kinks have been fixed in the later productions), recoil management, better sights due to increased distance between the front and rear sights, better trigger (I.e., lighter pull with short reset), slide lock, textured full grip, comes with adjustable backstraps (beavertail backstraps included with newer models), and more fire power (comes with 3, 15 round magazines).

I still have my nano, and I plan to use it as a bug, and carry it as my primary when my attire calls for something more concealable. It's great to have options

Congrats! Certainly an excellent choice.

I'd love to see the pics too, but what's with you "Glock people"? You all have like ten of them. "OMG that one has a DIFFERENT SERIAL NUMBER!" *excited squeal*

That's right, I'm looking at you, miller. j/k, j/k

Congrats, my glock 19 gen 4 arrived on Tuesday, I ordered it on the 11th March, have put 400+ rounds through it, not a single malfunction and it works great. Very happy with it.

You won't be disappointed. The G19 is one of the most proven pistols you can buy. Be warned, you may at some point become completely bored and put off by the monotony of hearing a bang every time you pull the trigger.

Well done.

You just chose the best defensive handgun made IMO. I have two Gen 3 G19s. They are both reliable as gravity. I recently sold my 17 to buy a second 19. The grip on the 19 is just enough different that it fits my hand better.

Do a Google search for 25 cent trigger job, and if you have a Dremel (or even a Q-Tip but that takes a while) you can make the trigger really nice in about a half hour. It's dirt simple to do. There are videos on YouTube showing you how to do it.

Excellent piece..you'll love it!

Here's a tip that may make you more politically correct when it's time to practice.

When I hit the range with my Glock I like to use the code word "GLOCKENSPIEL"

By doing this I need not lie to any anti-gun people who may ask me to go do something else...I simply say,

"naaa, I need to practice my music"
