This my friends looks interesting. If nothing else what a great knife for utility purposes, as it'd be a small, easy to carry fixed blade with a decent sized handle and trivial to resharpen.

Imagine this little monster after an Edge Pro had gotten after it.

They're redoing the sheath too for belt carry, which I always though would be a better way to go with the SPOT because to me, it's too long for a necker.

The spot is an excellent knife. It is really one of the most easily controlled neck knives for sale today. Fred Perrin really knew what he was talking about when he thought this one up.

After I got my bell wrung last time for my opinion, I promise to tread lightly here.

Yes, this is a better choice. It has a handle that offers more purchase for the entire hand. And I like the steel, S30V.

Overall, the concept can be better. Here's what I mean. Flame suit 'on.'

Go to striderknives.com and click on their column misspelled "consealable knives." Twix thee and me, I think he did it deliberately to include the word 'SEAL' in the title. Take a gander at the knives DB and SA.

Yeah, there's the paracord issue. Bada bing, bad boom, I'd remove it the second it got soiled or loose and get a real handle. Minor issue, minor repair.

Even as a neck knife, this knife can and often does become the owner's primary knife. It sharpens like a razor. You can firmly grasp it. And the name Strider is synonymous with blatant strength.

Now, even though Strider makes that two finger box-cutter for their clients (and again, this is America, buy what you'd like), I believe this to be the better choice.

There's the cost factor. How much is your life worth, you make the call.

(One more observation. While the superior knife, in my life this is not an EDC. Granted, I would carry it camping. I might wear it around my neck going to Sturgis until I got my bearings and knew the crowd I was in. I'd definitely wear it taking home a large cash earning as I went to my truck in the dark. I also believe that the Strider line appeals to a specialty market.)
