No, not insane ( although some might disagree on that too ); I just received NRA Certification to instruct the Basic Pistol course which means I can also teach Colorado's Concealed Handgun Permit (CHP - Colorado wants us to stop calling it a CCW because a handgun is the only legally concealable weapon allowed in Colo.).

How 'bout that sports fans? Do I get an Atta Boy?

Actually, although I've attended many different Colo CHP courses (to get a flavor for how they're taught), I plan to team teach with some really good instructors here for a while before I attempt to go develop my own course & go solo or be a lead instructor.

BTW, WA State a few years ago, Changed their
'permit" to "License To Carry Concealed Pistol" for the reason you mentioned.
