just got done moving my American securities safe W/2 other guys it took us about 2 hrs. it weighs about 600lbs. the weight isn't the problem its that the thing is so damn bulky and akward.

I have a Am.Sec. safe and I love it. non-fire rated.

I'm going out on a limb here, but does anyone have a clue how much this safe will weigh?

The dimensions are 60"x 22"x 16"

The model is not listed anywhere on American Security' website. It is fire-rated.

I hired a safe mover to do the job. He's moving it over Saturday afternoon.

IMO, a wise move (pardon the pun)!

Agree with Bud - unless one of the super-heavyweights - then probably in the 550 - 6000# region.

As others have said tho - it is not so much just the weight, as the awkwardness with something that size!
