Imbued with evil

Do you believe some BG's are actually close to being the devil incarnate? I do.

How else could they perform the deeds they do when to us ''normal'' folks we have issues with ''morality'', ''ethics'' and downright proper conduct toward our fellow humans.

Accept this and realize that the ''give them what they want'' policy statement by some high-up LE and law-makers is a total pile of bovine excreta. A BG with a gun or knife has to be regarded as one of these - come what may. If he is unfortunately one of the ''flash it and all will oblige'' category - tough stuff - that is not a risk I'll take.

Evil exists - I have seen it - and it is not pretty! A threat is a threat - is a threat - period!

You better beleive it.

There are people out there that would kill you in the blink of an eye and think nothing of it. These people only exist to prey on other people. They think, act and breath EVIL.

Its unfortunate that the average person is completely unaware that such people live to take advantage of others.

Im gonna say what I think at the risk of offending some of the more tender folks here...

Some people ought to be shot. Those that manifest evil in all that they do are at the top of the list...
Amen Chris
There are Bad Guys in this world that are truly Evil.
They have absolutely no human qualities remaining inside of them anymore.
They cannot be redeemed & they could disembowel you & then sit down beside your body and eat slices of pizza off of your bloody corpse.
Call it mentally ill ~ call it whatever you want to.
They are not human anymore.
They are predatory creatures and it would be an insult to the animal world to call them animals.
They are far worse than any animals.
Yep, hit the nail on the head!

BG pulls a knife, gun, club, breaks into my house, tries to jack my car, even threatens to hurt me or my family I take that serious. I am not a mind reader, I cannot know his/her heart (just wants to scare/ evil will rape, kill etc). All I can do is look at their actions and they tell me to be afraid, and to take steps to protect myself. Especially when my wife, kids, or other people I love are in volved. If I am by myself they might (stress the might) have a fractionally bigger margin for error, with my loved ones, they ain't no second chances. I would never forgive myself if I gave someone a "break" and someone I love paid for it. It won't happen. I don't play when it comes to protecting those I love.
For they eat the bread of wickedness

The Bible has a lot to say about inherent evil:

Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

Psalm 11:2 For, lo, the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may privily shoot at the upright in heart.

Psalm 36:1 The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, that there is no fear of God before his eyes.

Psalm 6:16-18: These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief . . .

Genesis 6:5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

Matthew 8:28 And when he was come to the other side into the country of the Gergesenes, there met him two possessed with devils, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way.

John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Proverbs 4:16-17 For they sleep not, except they have done mischief; and their sleep is taken away, unless they cause some to fall. For they eat the bread of wickedness, and drink the wine of violence.

Psalm 58:3 The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies.

Psalm 10:15 Break thou the arm of the wicked and the evil man: seek out his wickedness till thou find none.

Isaiah 59:7 Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood: their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; wasting and destruction are in their paths.

I'm always amazed when I run into the "there's some good in everyone" types. These people think that with some counseling and understanding anyone can be turned into a model citizen. What a crock. Read history, read the police reports, heck just open your eyes each day. I believe in this world you can pick your side but you are either going to be on the good side or the evil side. There's only one way to rid the world of evil as well and we sure are not doing the greatest job these days so the good suffer accordingly.
makes you wonder why they put down "vicious animals" but, don't do the same for the so called "intelligent" species.
You know what is truly SAD.
It's sad that there have been SO MANY graphic past examples of individuals (and their deeds) - that are nothing but Pure Evil that I cannot remember exactly when it was that I stopped believing that there was a little bit of GOOD in everyone.
Interesting thread... At the tender age of 37 I still believe that most of the bad guys I am likely to have cross my path are desperate, down and out people. Not evil - but misguided and trapped by a mental sickness that to them justifies their actions.

Don't get me wrong, I have no sympathy for people in this state. They are not "victims" because they didn't receive enough hugs when they were kids or Mommy didn't buy them a pony when they were little.

We all have freedom of choice in this life and sometimes those choices are difficult - especially when it comes to choosing a different life than the one presented to us by our parents/environment.

The use of the word "evil" speaks of Satan and Hollywood - not the criminal element.

Do I think a rapist should be hung? Yes.

Do I think a child molester should be hung? Yes.

Do I think a serial killer should be hung? Yes.

Do I think a bank robber should be hung? Maybe.

Would I shoot a stranger in my house in the middle of the night? Yes.

Make them hot cocoa and try to turn them to the light? Not bloody likely.

Flame away - my skin is thick. :)

And to ELCruisr,

I do think that there is "some good in everyone" but sometimes not very much. Counseling will not turn people into "model citizens" only their personal choices can do that.
The use of the word 'evil' speaks of philosphy.

"Ethics (from Greek ἦθος "ethos" meaning "custom") is one of the five major branches of philosophy, which attempts to understand the nature of morality; to distinguish that which is right from that which is wrong. The Western tradition of ethics is sometimes called moral philosophy. Ethics in plain words means studying and analyzing right from wrong; good from bad." Wikipedia

The idea of good and evil is not limited to Satan and Hollywood. My agnostic friend has an ethical belief.

Some people are capable of doing evil things. I don't want to dig through a pile of manure looking for a horse.

I always hated people who quote books and movies all of the time, but here lately I find myself doing it more and more. Forrest Gumps Stupid is as stupid does quote is quite appropriate. Evil is as evil does. Society has a couple of different kinds of rules. Rules for civil (moral) behavior, such as being respectful, not cheating on you wife etc., rules that when are broken they are a sign that you are not a nice guy, and the consequence are a lack of social acceptance. Then you have the hard rules that are in place to protect society, don't rob, steal, rape, hurt, or murder anyone. When you refuse to abide by those rule, when you hurt, rob, etc. then yes you are evil. There are different levels of evil, but evil none the less. Your actions show you for what you are. Do I believe that every person who steals should be shot, no! But in the middle of the night, when they break into my house, how do I know which type of evil they are? Can I or my family take the chance that I guess wrong? I don't think so! By breaking in, by car jacking me, by pulling the knife or gun or cub he has already demonstrated that he is capable of doing a level of evil. I personally don't feel comfortable assuming that he wouldn't do a greater evil given the chance.

## My criminal law prof had a better solution than hanging (hanging isn't good enough). Though, somehow I don't think it would be appropriate to post in a public forum. May make some a bit squeemish.
There is, without a doubt, evil in this world.
I have seen men possessed by the Devil and I have helped send them back to He11.

The last one.
Flores abducted Angela at knifepoint as she was closing the store and forced her into her car. He drove her to a remote area outside Borger, where he sexually assaulted her. Angela's parents knew she would not be late coming home so her father went out looking for her. After the rape, Flores drove Angela to a spot where they were seen by the victim's father. He approached the driver's side of the car and Flores pushed Angela to the floorboard, then tried to run down Angela's father with her car. Angela's father tried to chase them, but lost track of the fleeing vehicle. Flores drove back to Borger, where he parked the car and talked to Angela for several minutes. When Angela began screaming, Flores stabbed her with a pocket knife. She was stabbed 6 times in the chest and 4 times in the back. Her body was found in the front seat of her car about 1 a.m. June 29, 1989. (Flores used a long bladed kitchen knife, not a pocket knife. I found the knife in his kitchen sink still covered with the girl's blood)

When Flores gave me his confession, he ask how much it would cost to get out of this, that he knew how much it cost in Mexico.

It sounds like Flores has a nasty habit of being a POS. He will see that his life choices are frowned upon by society and possibly (hopefully) pay for his mental sickness with his life.

Mostly, I believe we differ on semantics. I am hesitant to blame on the Devil what is rooted in the atrocities of men.

Im not a "religous" guy, but I think this is very fitting:smile:
Chris you are on target, working twenty one years in the prison system in custody, with the dregs of society has made me certain that some people are just pure evil. While I do believe redemption is possible for anyone, most do not want to change. Regardless of what they may tell case workers, family or parole boards.. It is all a game they play in order to gain release and inflict more pain and suffering on society. Am I a little jaded? You might say that.

Sure cuts down on the repeat offenders! :image035:
