Has any of you gun guru's out there had any expierance with the Dan Wesson line of 1911 style pistols? The Razorback in perticular. I have some limited knowledge of the revo's and the old Dan Wesson company but have herd that they were sold and/or restructured. Main concerns are quality, parts availability(extra mag costs) accuracy, etc. The weapons are pretty pricy(similar to Kimbers) and I'm not so sure that I wouldn't be better served with another Kimber.---Any comments/thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

I dont have first hand knowledge... But my uncles cousin brothers form collage roommate said they were good... If you want ne buy one soon now that CZ has bought Dan wesson Prices are on the up Swing ... I normaly wont refer someone to other forums but try 1911 forums
I've shot one of the newer ones, and handled returns on defective pistols.

For the money, buy a Springfield or a Kimber.

I agree.. Springfield or Kimber would be a better choice.. also.the Charles Daly's 1911's are something to steer away from as well.
