Looks good to me based on QKShooters picture. All AK's are both good and bad. Good because they are reliable and fun to shoot, bad because they are inherently inaccurate. As time has marched on for me I realize that I like my accuracy more than doing mag dumps. I have a collection of bang-bang guns but I really have grown to appreciate laser beam accuracy. I had a couple really nice AK's in the past, even a milled receiver model and none have shot nearly as straight as the cheapest AR in my safe.

Who makes the receiver? On what country's pattern is the kit based? G2 fire control? How is the magazine quality? Who has competitive prices on the carbine? Thanks for answering QK.

I agree,but within 200 meters they are pretty accurate.

You won't win any shooting matches, but you will hit the target.

And for a combat rifle, isn't that the ultimate goal?

Its an STG 2000 which is basically a Romanian AK with a stock made to look like an East German Weiger rifle. IO has been making these in 7.62x39 and .223 for a while now. I have several AK's and this rifle while nothing special it still a solid Romanian based AK but mechanically not really different from an other WASR AK. If you want an AK that has a little different look thats what you get. but performance is the same as any other basic AK. If you want a high quality built AK look at Lancaster Arms or Arsenal.

All these WASR AK's are built from Romanian parts kits and have to have US made receivers, barrels or enough US made compliance parts to be BATF 922r complaint. With AK's its the country of manufacture of the parts kits that generally describes the rifle. In reality all the guns are "made" or assembled in the US from foreign and US parts.
