I won't even set foot in Oregon, Washington or California anymore. Its illegal for me to protect myself in those states and the chances of getting caught in a leftist mob are just too high.
I have family in all three but, they have to come to me anymore or I don't see them.
I wish I could convince my wife of that.

I grew up in the Pac NW, spent 30 some of my soon to be 57 years in the Pac NW. Oregon was always a state full of "weirdos". (I use that word to be kind, cuz the words that I would really use to describe the majority of Oregonians is "nutcases".)

The local LEO's were there to protect the safety of the protesters? So would they violently engage ICE, or other Federal Officers, if they attempted to arrest those blocking them? People remember Ft. Sumter was fired upon by the Democrats! Is this where we are heading?
Then they claim a Warrant is needed to remove someone from a "sanctuary city"? Really, is it not still part of the U.S. of A.?
I've heard many say that LEO's wouldn't enforce laws to take guns, or I'd assume other rights, if they were unconstitutional? Well NOW is the time for LEO's in these jurisdictions to start taking a stand. Their jobs are already being defunded and the powers to be are looking to eliminate them. They need to start ignoring the sanctuary laws and help ALL Law Enforcement activities in their jurisdictions. If they don't they will be used as the tip of the spear against this nation and it's laws by their fanatical Socialist Political Masters.
Personally I never bought the argument, when the time comes LE will do what their masters tell them. Sadly history is full of authorities just doing what they are told.
I'm NOT going to argue this again with people who have never worn a badge. You should remember that law enforcement is by and large a reflection of the community they serve. Why? Because they have to live with those people.

If you are an LEO and have to live in a community of wussies, you might be a wussie. If you live in a community where the majority are strong Constitutionalists, you might be a bit different.

But really, here is the crux of the matter concerning a warrant...

Central Oregon Peacekeepers President Luke Richter told KTVZ earlier they would remain there until they saw the arrest warrants.

"If they're going to take people from a sanctuary city, they need to have proper documentation of that,” he said. “We have not seen any warrants for their arrest."
And you responded...

Does that sound like an official statement from anyone who has either responsibility or authority to decide such matters for a municipality in that state? I apologize in advance if that sounds nit picky of me. But we really have to learn to differentiate between who is talking. "THEY" is not the police. "THEY" is Luke Richter.

We have become a nation of "If I say it, it MUST be fact." Luke Richter must believe that. Irregardless whether his nose is a foot long. I would submit the Pres of the "Central Oregon Peacekeepers" looks a bit like Pinocchio and looks and sounds nothing like a lawyer.

As an Oregonian, it is like most of you are saying, the northwest part of the state, two college towns, Bend and Ashlan are towns that I won't go to. The Southern and eastern part are ok. There is a strong movement in Oregon to become part of the state of Idaho. It is called Greater Idaho. I can only hope it happens.

lol. Portland , Bend, Salem , Eugene they're cousins.
Is Orygun lost ? I don't know. Is the Republic lost ?. Do you really think these snowflakes crew the commercial fishing fleets and work as loggers, truckers and partake in all the hunts in Oregon ?

The question posed in the O.P will eventually be asked about every State in the union from I reading lately.
It's a mistake to compare the liberal cesspools of humanity in Orygun and Washington to the rest of the States residents and call these anti Americans "patriots". It wasn't to long ago they declared the COTUS a hindrance to change.

Yeah the people there are different to be polite, but the Oregon coast is beautiful in it’s own way. CWO took me out there when we were dating and it was really cool!

Lots of colorful tats, stoners and folks that you couldn’t guess which sex or quite what they were. It was popcorn time for a Carolina gal!

As a retired cop the only thing I will add is that anyone who actively interfered with my service of a valid arrest warrant would be named in another arrest warrant, and I would take pleasure in serving that warrant.

I recall once having to get my at the time teenage daughter at the police station. Seems that a couple of her friends were caught shoplifting and she rounded the corner in the mall just in time to see them being cuffed. She of course marched over to demand on what grounds the girls were being arrested...well anyway she sounded exactly like the dweebs in Oregon. So, she went to jail too and it cost me attorneys fees and time for a court appearance just so the judge could throw out the case when the prosecutor dropped charges. See, they all knew that my addle brained offspring didn't do anything more than interfere with the arrest but she wasn't that much of a problem so she walked and the others had to cop a plea that banned them from every mall anywhere they were likely to go.

I explained to my daughter that she'd cost US money and it was coming out of her paycheck. I didn't get it all back but she learned a lesson.

bottom line, people need to stop thinking like teen age girls
