Yes, it is available. Saw one at my LGS a couple of weeks ago. Great gun! Good luck
Funny thing, I wasn't a Glock guy until I tried a Gen4 gun. That new slightly smaller grip made all the difference in the world. I own two Gen4 guns so far...I'm not a Glock guy so I was somewhat indifferent, but to answer your question...yes, they're out.
I've tried three different times to like Glocks and ended up selling them all off. If I were going to ever buy another one, I MIGHT...consider getting a 36. I don't dislike Glocks and won't bad mouth them...they just aren't for me.Funny thing, I wasn't a Glock guy until I tried a Gen4 gun. Us, it will fit any Compact frame Glock holster.Does anyone know if the 30S will fit into the Glock 23 holster?
Your right, the formula is: G36 Upper + G30SF Lower = G30S. The G30S comes with a Dual Recoil Spring too.I'm not positive but I think the current G30s is actually a Gen 3 pistol built on the "30SF" frame. I have a friend that just purchased a 30s with a test fire date of 3/12/13 and it is most definitely not a Gen 4 pistol. It came with 2 magazines and does not have the changeable backstraps.
