Greetings,

I am going back to my roots will start packing a 3" GP100 again. My question is who makes a good stable rig for this type of carry? I could care less what it is made of I am only concerned form, fit and function. I also need a good setup for at least 2 speed loaders.

Thanks,
Adrian

Folks know I am not an IWB sorta guy - but gotta say - I doubt I would ever consider IWB for this size of revo, tho I know it can be done.

Rather, I'd go for a hi-ride belt slide - that holds in tight and high, with good fwd cant - much more comfortable I'd think and as long as concealment garments suit - no problem.

Curious I guess too - as why you want IWB for this, tho as a carry gun - it's a great piece. I have carried my 4" M28-2 in past - another nice revo to carry even if large - but that was in a belt slide.

I have carried for about 24 years and IWB has given me the best concealment, security/retention and protection for my sidearms. In this time span I have cleared leather and lined up the sights on more then one bad guy so this is practical knowledge on what has worked for me. Is it easier to go OWB but not the most practical for my use with the 3" GP which is off duty carry. I normaly pack my G22 with extra mag, combat folder and light which is like being nacked compared to the all the gear I carry and wear on duty.

I hope I didn't sound like a smart ass!

I can learn new and better tricks from anyone regardless of how long they have been packing and do appreciate the debate.

Haha - no way Jose!

I think we often try and ''impress' on others what we find suits us - sometimes not believing as we should that the other dude knows what he wants

You have been carrying way longer than I have - I am but a noob at three years! Old man's treachery should get me part the ways but carry helps even the odds!
