Anyone have one of these JM4 Tactical Holsters? You can use it IWB or OWB depending how you order it. I would order it for OWB on my right side.

I get tired of taking my belt on and off all the time with my Pure Kustom OWB holster (which I love.) I know I could get an OWB holster with clips so I don't have to always slide my belt in and out of it but saw this. I also don't find IWB comfortable. I did also just buy a CC fanny pack which I like but don't want to always wear it.
Thanks in advance.

Hey!
I haven't been here in almost forever, but I'm home sick, started browsing and saw a question I can help with!
Anyway..
I have one of their holsters and like it alot..with some caveats.
The holsters aren't molded, so depending on your gun it may appear to be bigger than you might expect. Mine fits both my full size SP2022 and my 320 Subcompact. They size them according to the slide dimensions.
They hold the guns very securely. The magnet not only secures the holster to your garment, but also to the gun. You can turn the holster upside down and shake it. It will stay put, yet draw when you need it.
It also stays put on your pants. I was skeptical at first, but I've tried it with jeans, dress pants and slippery nylon workout gear. All stay put. No issues.
Now for the cons:
It's a little bulky, so it may be more likely to print with some cloths IWB. Also, without a belt to snug it down, which is when I use it, my body pushes the holster outward a bit at the bottom-again increasing printing. Again, that's IWB and I usually don't care about printing much so it's no big deal to me, and your anatomy and placement may or may not give you the same issue. I have also used it weak hand OWB and it stays put just as well, but wiggles and changes cant on it's own a bit.
In summary-It's the best solution I've found for ME for un-belted pants. Perfect? Maybe not, but definitely good enough for the mission I give it.

Thanks Arko.
I carry a Glock 27. I am sure it will print quite a bit more than my Pure Custom but would be nice to be able to use it on work out shorts and sweats. Do you think I would have to go IWB with this or would OWB be fine?

It will stay attached OWB no problem, but it will flop about a bit if you get really active. It can be disconcerting at first, but if that doesn't bother you it'll be ok. I much prefer it IWB though myself. I can do most anything I like wearing it without worry IWB.

Thanks again Arko.
I think if I get it I will do the IWB then. Appears to be the way to go with this holster. I appreciate your input.

One last question. Any reason you got the tan over black? I'm guessing they hadn't started manufacturing the black yet when you purchased it?

Sincerely,
Scott

No problem.
Hope you like it.
I got the tan because I thought the neutral loop would blend more easily with any work cloths I might wear it with..but I don't usually wear it while working because I wear a belt and then prefer my other holster! Oh well..still works. I may just dye it myself eventually, or just see what patina age gives it.
